Apple’s Manufacturer in China Resumes Operations at Limited Capacity

Major multinational companies are suffering a jolt on production due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

Apple’s supply chain has suffered disruptions due to its major manufacturing companies being shut down. However, Foxconn, Apple’s biggest iPhone manufacturer, was approved to resume production but with only 10% of its workforce capacity.

These delays in production lead have created a shortage in supply for Apple's major products: the iPhone and AirPods. It is predicted that this slow-down in production could reduce production by 1 million products per each week that delays persist [Fox News].

Foxconn, which is one of the world’s largest electronics manufacturers must improve their safety and health measures in order to get approval from the Government to resume operations and avoid major loses.
