China Lifts Lockdown on Wuhan

The Chinese government has announced that beginning April 8th, the mandatory lockdown on Wuhan will be lifted.

Last week the city of Wuhan reported no new cases of COVID-19 for the first time since reports started.  And while Wuhan still has two weeks of lockdown left, some businesses in the city have begun to slowly re-open.  This includes two car factories that re-started production lines this past Monday.

The re-opening of Wuhan signals a positive sign for recovery from the virus worldwide.
